Did not work. Called tech support and they had no clue what i was talking about. Horrible! Stay away from it.....

I like this product. It really doesn't give me issues except a few bugs. They are working on updates and for the most part I am happy with it. It is really getting better

Right now there is no subtitle support but thy do plan for it to be implemented. Other than that, they aren't missing much. The IMDB integration requires some work to get set up properly but it does work. It also is kind of weird to get the media set up to access but it is definitely one of the easier media boxes I've worked with. I would recommend this but only after they get a few more firmware updates out to get all of the features in there.

Basic functionality doesn't work. Simple as that. You can look at the popbox forums if you don't believe me. They have admitted time and again that the unit does not resume, allow a user to change subtitles/audio tracks, and is fundamentally flawed in many ways. The firmware update that was supposed to be released in July is now delayed until mid-September, and judging by history, I'd say October is more likely. Almost every customer has returned their box already and there are about 3 or 4 vocal people that probably have some stake in the company that continue to defend it. Please don't support them, this thing is junk!

After having pre-ordered this thing back in April with all of their promises, delayed ship dates and all, I was immensely disappointed with this product. It doesn't support MAC formatted hard drives, I couldn't get it to recognize my network shares (SMB) using Snow Leopard, no subtitle support still and mine had a faulty power cable and no SD card in my first shipment. I couldn't believe the lack of testing or time spent with this device before hand. I slunk back to my WDTV live which I hate the UI on... but alas, it works without a hiccup. Here's hoping the Boxee Box lives up to its hype. Popbox sure didn't.
